How did we get here?
Every love story has a beginning, and ours started in the most unexpected way. What began as Sarah's simple message turned into ski days, quiet evenings with our cats, and a life we now can't imagine without each other. Here's a little glimpse into how we got here.
You had me at hockey and Star Wars...
When Sarah noticed that Tyler's Tinder profile mentioned his love for hockey, Star Wars, and one of her favorite bands of all time, she of course decided to make the first move.
Our first date included a whole pitcher of margarita, an un-expected run-in with Sarah's parents, and a long late-night conversation on the beach (Fun fact: Tyler's ring now includes sand from that very beach)
starting a life together...
After a year together, we realized two things, we really loved each other, and we both really hated Florida. So we loaded up our newly adopted cat Bellamy, every last belonging and drove to Colorado to start the life we couldn't stop dreaming about.
growing into ourselves together...
Colorado became where we built our lives, and learned how to build them together. We grew into our careers, expanded our little family by adopting our second cat Mici, and started saying yes to bigger adventures.
Somewhere along the way, what we were building stopped feeling temporary. It felt steady and intentional. It felt like the life we want to keep choosing, together.

On March 9th, 2025 (unintentionally and fittingly on Bellamy's birthday) Tyler proposed to Sarah in Seceda while skiing high above the jagged peaks of the Dolomites in Italy. To no one's surprise but Tyler's, Sarah proposed back to him on the same trip.

For us, getting married isn't about changing what we have, it's about honoring the life we've already built and committing to keep building it, together.
This day is about more than just the two of us. It's about merging our families and beginning this next chapter surrounded by the people who mean the most. We can't wait for you to be a part of it!
